Release Date: May 1, 2010

  • RPS 3.0 is officially out of Open Beta - this release constitutes the first 'full release' of RPS 3.0
  • Myth Resets have been once again set to 0, particularly to facilitate those who spent a lot of Open Beta testing different setups and helping with bug-finding. Everyone is once again permitted a full 10 Myth resets.
  • When players switched to Tournament or Mode, not all skills would switch appropriately. Additionally, when switching back to RP from Tournament Mode, RP skill levels did not re-load. Solved. This issue is likely tied into why some players found their skills and myth 'suddenly gone' as it affected several different Mode switches in RPS 3.0 Beta.
  • Influence gain for victory and influence loss for defeat has been turned on as RPS 3.0 Open Beta is now complete and this version is a full release version of the system.
  • Open Beta did not allow for automatic training of a new language when choosing the Language skill - now does. Any who have already spent points in the Language skill will need to, however, petition the admins of their environment for language ads for those points previously spent (will only work for newly spent points in Language).
  • Overhead meter would not automatically detach when HUD was removed - now does.
  • Overhead meter did not switch overhead text back to appropriate text when exiting Tournament mode - now does.
  • Brawl mis-declared secondary damage type as Health when secondary damage type is actually Physical. Now declares correctly.
  • Losing a level as a result of combat defeat resulted in a significant increase in stats and Myth - solved.
  • Website-based updating of skills is not propagating correctly down to the in-world HUD. This issue was solved on the web-end and is now working correctly.
  • Other Blood changes resulted in too few points being removed from Health (3 instead of 5) and when Myth was reset, Physical, Mental, and Social did not appropriately reacquire their natural stat level. Solved.
  • The allowed stat-range for characters with the Other Blood skill was appropriately implemented, but not appropriately displayed on the available stat-range display on the website character sheet. Solved.
